The early summer breeze carries echoes of youth; a decade-long journey has paved a path illuminated by growth.

In this season of harvest and hope, Pegasus California School celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 and its 10th anniversary.

From the founding vision to guiding over a hundred students toward world-renowned universities; from full foreign-teacher immersion in the classroom to ten graduating classes whose university offers bear testament to their achievements—every step Pegasus has taken reflects an unwavering commitment to education.

Today, we bid farewell to the Class of 2026 with our most solemn ceremony as they embark on new journeys, while gathering in warm reunion to revisit the founding vision and shared glory of our ten years together.

This grand celebration brought together graduates and their families, current students and faculty, distinguished guests, and alumni from across the years to witness the crowning of youth and to share in this decade-defining Pegasus celebration.

Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony featured a solemn yet vibrant blue-and-gold color scheme, with Pegasus imagery and 10th-anniversary emblems displayed throughout—reflecting both the school's spirit and the exuberant vitality of youth. Along the red carpet, faculty, staff, current students, and guests stood in welcome, greeting each graduate with thunderous applause. The emcees announced each graduate's name along with their personal graduation message. Every graduate walked hand-in-hand with their family down the red carpet, signing the celebration backdrop to capture their own unique moment.

Mr. Paul Johnson, Academic Principal of Pegasus California School, delivered a heartfelt graduation address. As a core academic leader who has accompanied Pegasus through many years of educational development, he has witnessed generation after generation of students go forth from here into the world.

This time, he looked back on the growth and transformation of the Class of 2026 during their time at school, taking pride in their breakthroughs and progress, and offered the graduates words of wisdom to guide their future, drawn from a decade of academic insight.

"Graduates, throughout your time at our school, you have consistently raised the bar. Each year, you challenged yourselves and one another to reach higher, think deeper, and strive for excellence. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, through projects, or in the countless moments that happen quietly behind the scenes, you have set new standards for what it means to be a member of our school community.

You have not simply participated in our school life - you have helped shaped it. Your contributions have left a lasting mark on our community. You have helped mentor younger students, organized events, led clubs and teams, supported important causes, represented our school well, and created a culture of kindness and belonging. Because of your efforts, our school is stronger today than it was when you first arrived.

The legacy you leave is not measured only by awards, trophies, or accomplishments. It is measured by the friendships you built, the encouragement you gave to others, the example you set, and the positive impact you made on those around you.

Your journey to this moment has not always been easy. Each of you has faced challenges, obstacles, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty. Yet time and again, you demonstrated resilience. You showed up. You worked hard. You remained committed to your goals and to one another. The success we celebrate tonight is not the result of talent alone. It is the result of dedication, discipline, courage, and determination."

Mr. Steven Ma, Founder & CEO of Pegasus California School, took the stage to deliver his address, expressing profound expectations for the Class of 2026.

"First, I am truly proud of all of you. For ten years, Pegasus has always grounded itself in rigorous scholarship, held fast to educational principles, and strictly maintained academic integrity. Even after receiving offers from world-renowned universities, you remained committed to completing your remaining studies with earnest effort, advancing steadily through your own merits. This is the most vivid embodiment of the Pegasus educational philosophy.

Our school maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying and academic dishonesty. Over the past decade, several students have been dismissed due to moral misconduct. You come from privileged backgrounds, yet you have always treated others with humility and upheld your principles. This is something to be far prouder of than any university offer. Please remember: respecting others and maintaining integrity are what Pegasus has taught you, and they are the most fundamental principles for living in this world.

Second, I hope you learn to accept failure with grace. Success has never come easily. Throughout history, those who have achieved greatness have all endured hardships and trials. During your three years at Pegasus, you have already learned how to face challenges and adjust yourselves. On the road ahead, when you encounter setbacks, do not simply blame external circumstances. Instead, reflect upon yourselves, make timely adjustments, and set out again. Falling is not to be feared; giving up lightly is what will cause you to miss the possibilities that lie ahead.

Finally, to those of you heading overseas for further study, I have one piece of advice: do not obsess over GPA and rankings. During your university years, make friends with like-minded peers, actively participate in clubs and social practices, and use your holidays to gain local internships and workplace experience. The graduates Pegasus has cultivated over the past decade have already proven that rich experience and comprehensive abilities will serve your life development far longer than a transcript ever could.

Congratulations to all graduates! May you carry with you the educational foundation that Pegasus has built over ten years, stay true to your hearts, and rush toward your own splendid futures."

As an outstanding graduate representative at the Pegasus 10th Anniversary Celebration, Magnolia Hua from the Class of 2026 delivered her graduation speech in English. Through her own growth story at Pegasus, she interpreted the true meaning of the school's motto "Be Inspired," and demonstrated to the younger students present the transformation and empowerment that a Pegasus education brings.

The solemn diploma conferral ceremony proceeded as scheduled. Pegasus students took the stage one by one to receive their diplomas from Academic Principal Paul Johnson, while Founder & CEO Mr. Steven Ma presented flowers and blessings. Cameras captured every glorious moment.

After the conferral, all graduates, led by students David and William, completed the tassel-turning ceremony, moving the tassel from right to left—a symbol marking the successful completion of their studies and their formal transition from Pegasus to a new beginning in life. A heartwarming video of parental blessings was played, and the love and words of encouragement from family members filled the venue with warmth.

With hearts full of gratitude for their teachers' nurturing guidance, all PLs and subject teachers came onto the stage, and the Class of 2026 presented each teacher with a bouquet of flowers, thanking them in the most sincere way for their dedicated guidance and constant companionship.

Pegasus 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Pegasus California School 10th Anniversary Celebration opened with a retrospective video. Tracing the school's journey chronologically from founding to the present, the video looked back on a decade of deep cultivation and growth, showcasing the educational vision that Pegasus has always upheld, and the stories of generation after generation of Pegasus students setting forth from here to destinations around the world. The video deeply moved and inspired all guests present.

Four student emcees from Pegasus took the stage, introducing the distinguished guests one by one, including the school's first Chinese principal - Principal Yuan, Principal Zhou, and Principal Gong; Mr. Steven Ma's family members; graduate parents in attendance; and representatives of alumni. The audience welcomed all guests with warm applause, expressing gratitude for their support and companionship over the past decade.

Mr. Steven Ma, Founder & CEO of Pegasus California School, took the stage once again to deliver an address dedicated to the Pegasus 10th Anniversary Celebration.

"The hearts of all parents are united in a common wish. Every parent hopes their child will chase their dreams and live as their unique selves. Pegasus has been running for ten years, weathering storms along the way, yet our educational vision has never wavered.

Our school has always adhered to academic standards and upheld integrity, resolutely refusing to alter grades or tolerate cheating. Over the past decade, more than sixty students have been dismissed or expelled due to moral misconduct or violations of school regulations. Today, the international education field is rife with chaos, yet we have consistently rejected quick fixes and shortcuts. We firmly believe that the process of growth matters far more than momentary results, and that a diploma has never been the ultimate meaning of education.

Self-awakening, unlocking potential, and becoming a unique individual—these are the unchanging core values of Pegasus. Do not be bound by worldly labels; everyone possesses their own value and life direction. Rather than gaining admission to top universities, we hope our students will internalize the campus spirit and embody it in their actions. Many alumni have taken diverse paths: some overcame their shortcomings and joined renowned investment banks; some faced difficulties head-on and started their own businesses; some devoted themselves to scholarship and pursued doctoral degrees. All have carved out wonderful lives.

Having worked in the study-abroad industry for many years, I have witnessed too many people blinded by the allure of prestigious university names. It is precisely for this reason that I resolved to commit myself to fundamental education and guide students to establish correct values. Since founding the school, we have cultivated nearly three hundred graduates. Even if our efforts can only warm a portion of students and influence individual families, to me, that is already immense comfort.

The spirit of Pegasus belongs to everyone here. Students, parents, and all faculty and staff are a community bound together. We fully support teachers and students in pursuing their ideals and exploring their careers, and we hope everyone will always preserve the purity and passion in their hearts.

Finally, my message to all teachers, students, and graduates: the friendships formed on campus are precious beyond measure. The growth earned through holding fast to principles and keeping one's feet on the ground will become invaluable wealth in life. I hope you all learn to inspire yourselves, and also take the initiative to illuminate others, spread positive energy, serve as bridges for communication, and influence more people through your own actions."

Michael Wang, representative of the Class of 2022 alumni, took the stage to speak. He shared his growth journey since graduating from Pegasus, thanked the school for laying a solid foundation for his development, and offered his most sincere blessings to the younger members of the Class of 2026, wishing them courage to move forward on their future paths and to achieve their life goals.

The father of Mace Ge, a graduate of the Class of 2023 currently studying at New York University, took the stage to speak. From a parent's perspective, he shared his child's growth and transformation at Pegasus, thanked the school for its professional cultivation and the teachers' dedicated efforts, expressed high recognition of the Pegasus educational philosophy, and offered the warmest blessings to the Class of 2026.

This celebration specially established the "Decade of Dedication Award" to honor outstanding faculty and staff who have silently dedicated themselves to the school's development over ten years. Founder & CEO Mr. Steven Ma took the stage to present the awards to Operations Principal Vivian and College Counselor Crystal. They each shared their ten-year journey of growing alongside Pegasus, expressing their love for the school and dedication to the cause of education. The audience paid them tribute with the warmest applause.

Melodious music and artistic brilliance filled the hall. The musical performance at the close of the celebration presented the audience with a moving audio-visual feast. Pegasus music teacher Mr.Kody's trumpet solo was mellifluous and resonant; the symphony performed by students was magnificent and grand; the Air Locker band played the music of youth, igniting a wave of enthusiasm throughout the venue, adding a romantic, vibrant touch of youth to this grand ceremony.

A decade of cultivation, a garden in full bloom; graduation in the height of summer, sailing toward the light.

For the Class of 2026, this graduation ceremony marks the end of your high school campus life, yet even more so, it is the beginning of a new journey. May you carry the Pegasus spirit, your teachers' guidance, and your family's love, bravely venturing toward new horizons, living as the person you aspire to be in a broader world—always passionate, always radiant.

For Pegasus California School, ten years is a milestone and an entirely new beginning. We will always uphold our educational vision, charting the course for every student's growth with professional quality and warm companionship.

We also look forward to the next ten, twenty years, embarking on new journeys together with more members of the Pegasus community, co-authoring a glorious future.

Congratulations to all graduates of the Class of 2026. Happy Graduation!

Once again, congratulations to Pegasus California School on its 10th anniversary!
