American Mathematics Competition（AMC）

 

ABOUT AMC

The AMC competition is of great significance for everyone to get offers from top universities!

AMC, an American mathematics competition, is organized by the American Mathematical Society. It is the most well-known mathematics competition in the United States with the largest number of participants. As the only platform for selection for the U.S. national team, there are more than 300,000 students registering for participation in North America alone each year. The competition sets up global awards, Chinese competition awards and school group awards. Outstanding candidates can advance to the American Invitational Mathematics (AIME). The Chinese and English test papers in the Mainland China competition will start at the same time.

 

The American Mathematics Competition aims to develop middle school students' problem-solving ability and master mathematics knowledge. It mainly includes the following competitions:

 

● American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8) 

● American Mathematics Competition 10/12 (AMC 10/12) 

●American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) : For students who perform exceptionally well on the AMC 10/12, they are invited to continue participating in the AMC series of examinations that culminate with the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The first in this series is the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME), followed by the USA Mathematical Olympiad and Junior Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO and USAJMO).

The AMC competitions closely related to university application mainly constitute “AMC 8” and “AMC 10/12” competitions!

Competitions Date: 

Part A: November 11, 2021 17:00-18:15

Part B: November 17, 2021 17:00-18:15

Future Business Leaders of America（FBLA）

 

ABOUT FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA-PBL helps over 250,000 students prepare for careers in business. Today, FBLA has more than 6,400 schools in membership in Canada, China, Europe, Central and South America, and 47 states in the United States, holds various business elite activities and competitions every year, and also issues participation certificates, award certificates, etc., making it the world’s largest student occupation.

 

FBLA is also the most influential business event in American high schools, and is the "Olympic Games" of business and economics. It is listed as an official project of the Ministry of Education by the US government and listed as a student competition and activity recommended by the school principals by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Individual Student engaged is limited to only one subject in selection scope, where subject switch is unavailable.
